About this site
Gushan (孤山), also called Yinghai Shan, is the only island in Fuxian Lake, a 1,720 m-altitude freshwater lake in Yunnan, dived from boats that land on the island. The bottom is a jumble of large rocks and boulders in clear water with 5–10 m visibility, a change from the softer lake floor elsewhere. Altitude-diving procedures apply.
