About this site
Hallsands lies on the South Devon coast of England, near Start Bay, and is known on land for the abandoned fishing village that was largely destroyed by coastal erosion in the early twentieth century after dredging works undermined the shingle bank protecting it. The dive site off this stretch of coast reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres.
