About this site
Hive Beach is a shore diving site on the Dorset coast of southern England, near Burton Bradstock along the Jurassic Coast. It's a beginner-level dive with a maximum depth of around 8 metres, suiting the easy shore entries typical of this stretch of coastline. Boat traffic and fishing lines in the area have been flagged as hazards worth watching for. Tiger sharks have been recorded here, and divers have also reported them separately, though a sighting so far outside the species' usual range is worth treating with some caution.
