About this site
HMAS Swan is a former Royal Australian Navy destroyer escort scuttled off Dunsborough in Western Australia as an artificial dive site. It sits at a maximum depth of around 32 metres over a wreck bottom and is considered suitable for beginners. Divers exploring the structure should keep the usual wreck diving hazards in mind, particularly around penetration and navigating the hull. Batfish, grouper, and wobbegong sharks have been reported around the wreck, and there have even been sightings of whales passing through the area.
