Hodge Close is a flooded slate quarry in the Lake District area of Cumbria, near Coniston and Tilberthwaite in northwest England. It reaches a maximum depth of around 28 metres, with the quarried rock walls and chambers typical of these disused Lakeland slate workings. Divers here are diving a former industrial site rather than a natural formation, entering through the quarry's steep cut faces.
