About this site
Wasini Island sits off the southern coast of Kenya near Shimoni, close to the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park at the border with Tanzania. House Reef is a shore dive here, reached directly from the island, over a sandy bottom with a maximum depth of around 5 metres, which makes it a beginner-friendly site. Octopus are commonly found here, and divers have also reported nudibranchs along the sand.
