About this site
House Reef sits just off the shore of Redang Island in Terengganu, Malaysia, within the marine park that protects the surrounding waters of the South China Sea. As a house reef, it offers easy shore access over a reef bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 29.3 metres and rated as a beginner site with good visibility. Octopus are a regular sight here, and divers have also reported barracuda, fusiliers, mandarinfish, parrotfish, and squid on the reef.
