About this site
Loafaru is an island in Noonu Atoll, one of the northern atolls of the Maldives, and its House Reef refers to the reef fringing the island itself, typically accessed directly from shore or a nearby resort jetty. Noonu Atoll sits north of Male and is less heavily dived than the central atolls, with reef structure built around the island's fringing lagoon and outer slope. Divers on this reef have reported clownfish sheltering among the corals and octopus tucked into the reef structure.
