About this site
HTMS Kled Kaew lies off Ao Nang on Thailand's Andaman coast, near the Krabi coastline in the south of the country. The wreck sits on a sand bottom with a maximum depth of around 26 metres and good visibility, and is rated a beginner dive. Barracuda, lionfish, scorpionfish, and snapper are common around the hull, and divers have also reported frogfish, leopard sharks, nudibranchs, and pipefish here. Some divers have noted strong currents at the site, though this has not been consistently reported.
