About this site
Patch Reef (パッチリーフ) is a boat-dive reef off Ie Island, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 22 m and an average around 16 m. Small coral heads are scattered over sand, and the bluestripe snapper here are hand-fed and follow divers; table coral on the heads holds humbug damselfish that can be watched at leisure from the sand. Current at times; from beginner/novice level.
