About this site
Ijyakajya is a dive site off Aka Island in the Kerama Islands, west of Okinawa's main island in the East China Sea, within Kerama-Shoto National Park. The island group is reached by ferry from Naha and is known for the clear waters of the surrounding channel, which draws divers and snorkelers to the many sites scattered around the coastline. Divers have reported yellow finger coral at this particular site, adding to the coral cover typical of the Kerama waters.
