About this site
Ikei Island sits off the northeastern coast of Okinawa's main island, connected to neighboring Miyagi Island and the mainland by bridges. The surrounding waters of this part of the Okinawa archipelago are dotted with small coastal dive operations serving the local reefs. The dive site here is a reef reaching a maximum depth of around 26 metres, rated beginner and known for great visibility. Divers have also reported surge at times as a hazard to watch for.
