About this site
Ikesu (IKESU) is a boat dive at Oda on the San-in coast of Shimane, fifteen to twenty minutes from the harbour, with a maximum depth of 29 m and an average around 18 m. Large animals such as eagle rays, banded houndsharks, longtooth grouper and Asian sheepshead wrasse are encountered, chicken grunt and damselfish school across the reef, and in autumn barracuda gather in their tens of thousands. No current, intermediate and above.
