About this site
Ilha de Meio is one of the small islets off the main island of Fernando de Noronha, the volcanic archipelago off the northeast coast of Brazil. Dive sites in this stretch of the Atlantic are typically reached by short boat rides from the Praia dos Porcos or Praia do Sancho area, within the marine park that protects most of the archipelago's waters. Divers here have reported brown chromis and Rocas gregory among the fish life around the islet.
