Ilhas Duas Irmãs sits within the Baía da Ilha Grande, off Angra dos Reis on the coast of Rio de Janeiro state. This stretch of the Costa Verde is dotted with granite islands and islets, with dive and snorkel boats operating out of Angra dos Reis and the nearby marinas. Divers around these islets have reported Atlantic sergeant major, banded butterflyfish, porkfish, tomtate, and red cushion sea stars along the rocky bottom.
