Islas Hormigas Marine Reserve is a protected dive area located off the Murcia coast of Spain, near La Manga and Cabo de Palos, known for its clear waters and rich biodiversity. The site features impressive rocky formations that create habitats for a wide range of marine creatures, with depths ranging from a few metres down to over 40 metres, suiting divers of all experience levels.

The rocky terrain supports a dense variety of life, with divers regularly encountering large groupers, amberjacks, moray eels, and schools of barracuda moving through the formations. The clear visibility and the range of ecosystems within the reserve make it a popular site for underwater photography.
