About this site
Salango's islets sit off the coast of Manabí province in Ecuador, near the town of Salango and within reach of the Machalilla National Park area on the country's central Pacific coast. This stretch of coastline is known for its rocky islands rising out of the ocean, a short boat ride from the mainland fishing communities. The dive here reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner site.
