About this site
Jamarac V is an artificial reef off Dubai, resting at 30 meters in the Persian Gulf. The sunken cargo ship attracts schools of barracuda, snapper, and batfish. Its intact structure offers swim-throughs and deck exploration, with occasional turtle sightings. Visibility ranges 5-15 meters, best in cooler months. Currents are mild, suitable for intermediate divers. The wreck is encrusted with soft corals, creating a vibrant underwater habitat. Night dives reveal nocturnal marine life. Easy access from Dubai makes it a popular choice.
