About this site
Jan's Drop Off lies along the coast of Cayman Brac, one of the three Cayman Islands in the western Caribbean, where the terrain drops from a shallower shelf into a wall offshore. It's reached by short boat rides from the island's dive operators and is rated an advanced dive. Strong currents have been reported at the site, so divers should be prepared for changing conditions along the wall, and hammerhead sharks have also been spotted here.
