About this site
Kiholo Bay sits on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, north of Kailua-Kona, a broad bay backed by lava fields and a large brackish pond that draws green sea turtles inshore. The coastline here is a mix of black lava rock shoreline and calmer shallow water, with several coves used for snorkeling and diving along the bay.
