Kilpisjärvi is a lake in the far northwest of Finnish Lapland, sitting in a narrow arm of Finland squeezed between Norway and Sweden near the base of Saana fell. The village of the same name on its shore serves as a hub for hiking and fell tourism in the region, and the lake itself straddles the border area at the tip of Finland's so-called arm.
