About this site
King Island offers dramatic underwater terrain with towering kelp forests and rocky reefs teeming with marine life. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich waters, attracting seals, rays, and schools of pelagic fish. The cold Southern Ocean waters provide excellent visibility, often exceeding 20 meters. Wrecks dot the coastline, encrusted with colorful sponges and home to lobsters. Dive among boulders and caves where octopus and crayfish hide. Expect challenging conditions with variable surge, best suited for experienced divers. The island's remote location ensures uncrowded, pristine dives.
