Klima lies off Peristera Island, part of the Northern Sporades in the Alonnisos Marine Park in the Thessaly region of Greece. This area of the Aegean is best known for the Peristera shipwreck nearby, an ancient cargo vessel, and diving around the island is tightly regulated because of that archaeological significance.
