About this site
Koh Mong sits among the small islands off Thailand's Andaman coast, in the vicinity of the Trang and Satun province waters, an area dotted with limestone islets typically reached by boat from the mainland or nearby larger islands. The site is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 40 metres, rated advanced with medium current. Manta rays and whale sharks are regularly encountered here, and divers have also reported barracuda, bull sharks, eagle rays, leopard sharks, Napoleon wrasse, octopus, scorpionfish, and lionfish along the wall, alongside smaller reef residents like butterflyfish.
