About this site
Koh Phai, also known as Coral Island, sits a few kilometres off Pattaya in the Gulf of Thailand, within Bang Lamung District of Chonburi province. It is a popular day-trip destination from Pattaya's beaches, reached by longtail boat or speedboat. The surrounding reef makes for a beginner dive down to about 26 metres, and divers have reported barracuda, fusilier, ghost pipefish, lionfish, nudibranchs, parrotfish, seahorses, snapper, wrasse, and even the occasional whale shark passing through.
