About this site
Kooddoo Kandu is a channel dive site at Kooddoo in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, in the southern Maldives. It reaches a maximum depth of around 8.4 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported bull sharks passing through the channel, alongside Napoleon wrasse, oriental sweetlips, and midnight snapper. Reef species such as powder blue tang, lined bristletooth, and Hawaiian convict surgeonfish have also been spotted here, along with small giant clams tucked into the coral.
