About this site
Koundouros is a coastal area on the western side of Kea, one of the northern Cyclades islands in the South Aegean, known for its sheltered bays and rocky coastline. The Outer Reef site sits offshore from this stretch, typically reached by a short boat trip from the small resorts around Koundouros bay. Divers here have also reported mauve stinger jellyfish drifting over the reef.
