About this site
La Pared is a thrilling wall dive off Islote El Pelado in Ecuador's Pacific waters. The steep drop-off plunges into the deep, attracting schools of jacks, barracuda, and occasional hammerheads. Vibrant coral formations cling to the rock face, while moray eels and octopuses hide in crevices. Currents can be strong, making this site ideal for experienced divers. Visibility varies but often rewards with dramatic underwater vistas. The area is known for its rich biodiversity, including rays and sea turtles.
