Lage Two Flooded lies off Cabo Frio, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro state, an area known for cold upwelling currents that bring unusually clear, cool water to an otherwise tropical stretch of coast. Local operators working out of Cabo Frio and nearby Arraial do Cabo run trips to the rocky points and offshore reefs typical of this region. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 50 metres, putting its deeper sections well beyond casual diving range. Divers have reported banded butterflyfish and green sea turtles here, though sightings vary by trip.
