Lake Amistad is a reservoir on the Rio Grande in Val Verde County, Texas, formed by the Amistad Dam near Del Rio and shared with Mexico. It is a popular freshwater diving and boating destination in the region, with flooded canyon terrain from the Devils River, Pecos River, and Rio Grande drainages beneath its surface.
