About this site
Lake Murray is a large reservoir in central South Carolina, created in the 1930s by the damming of the Saluda River near Columbia. It draws divers mainly for its freshwater visibility and features like sunken structures and, in some areas, submerged trees and old building foundations left when the valley was flooded.
