About this site
Lake Murray sits in south-central Oklahoma, near Ardmore, and is the centerpiece of Lake Murray State Park. It is a reservoir formed by damming Anadarche Creek in the 1930s as part of a Civilian Conservation Corps project, making it one of Oklahoma's older constructed lakes.
