Lake Wazee is a deep quarry lake in Wisconsin that is dived late in the summer, once the water has had time to warm up. Visibility is great when you go deep.
Unlike most quarries, light still reaches 100 feet (30 metres) here, although the temperature at that depth is only in the 40s Fahrenheit (roughly 4 to 9 degrees Celsius). The lake goes well past recreational depths, so it also allows extended range dives.
