The Lana Carol wreck sits in the Atlantic off New Jersey, resting at 80 feet. This artificial reef teems with marine life—black sea bass, tautog, and lobsters hide in its structure. Strong currents attract schooling fish, making it ideal for drift diving. Visibility varies but often reaches 30 feet. The wreck’s intact hull and debris field offer exploration for intermediate divers. Cold water year-round, with thermoclines in summer. Nearby sand channels host occasional rays and flounder. Best dived in calm conditions due to Atlantic swells.
