About this site
Längsee is a lake in Carinthia, in southern Austria, near the town of St. Georgen am Längsee. As a dive site it reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it a beginner-friendly spot. Divers here have also reported spotting lobster and scorpionfish, an unusual pair for an inland Alpine lake and likely introduced or unusual sightings worth noting rather than the norm for such waters.
