About this site
Las Palatas lies along the Caribbean coast near San Pedro de Macorís, on the southern shore of the Dominican Republic, in an area where boat access to reef structure just offshore is common. The reef reaches a maximum depth of around 29 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have also reported barracuda and tuna passing through the site.
