About this site
Left Cliff is a reef dive site off Rivière Noire, on the southwestern coast of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, typically reached by boat from the surrounding coastal towns. It reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres. Divers have reported a wide range of reef fish here, including bluespine unicornfish, parrotfish, lagoon triggerfish, and several wrasse species such as red-cheek, sixbar, whiteline, and zigzag wrasse. Butterflyfish, surgeonfish, and rockskippers have also been spotted along the reef.
