Lekuan II

Lekuan II is one of a series of sites along the Lekuan wall on the southwest side of Bunaken Island, part of Bunaken National Marine Park off the tip of North Sulawesi. The wall drops to a max depth of around 100 metres, rated a technical dive, with the top of the reef sitting in shallow water before falling away sharply. Visibility here is good, current is generally light, and the bottom is the wall itself rather than sand or rubble. Fusiliers school along the reef, and divers commonly encounter other reef fish, turtles, and occasional pelagics passing in the blue. Currents along the Lekuan sites can still shift, so boats often check conditions before a drift along the wall.
