Lembongan Bay

Lembongan Bay sits off the northwest coast of Nusa Lembongan, the island across the strait from mainland Bali near Sanur's crossing point. The bay faces the mangrove-lined shore of the island and serves as a common anchorage and access point for boats running to dive sites around Nusa Lembongan and neighboring Nusa Ceningan. The dive itself is shallow, reaching a maximum of around 12 metres over reef, rated beginner with no current and great visibility, which makes it an easy site relative to some of the stronger drifts elsewhere around the island. Divers have reported damselfish, frogfish, sea turtles, eagle rays, manta rays, and even mola mola here, along with occasional strong or shifting currents.
