About this site
Les Pyramides sits off the coast of Ile de Groix, a short boat ride from Lorient across the Bay of Biscay approaches, in the granite and rocky terrain typical of this stretch of Brittany. The site takes its name from the angular rock formations shaped by Atlantic swell along the island's coastline. It reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive, and like most sites here it is reached by boat out of the harbour at Port Tudy.
