Light House Reef sits off Santorini, part of the Cyclades island group in the Aegean Sea, near the island's southern tip where the Akrotiri lighthouse stands on the cliffs above. The site takes its name from this landmark, which overlooks the volcanic caldera coastline that defines diving around Santorini. Boats to sites in this area typically launch from harbors near Athinios or Vlychada. Divers here have reported dusky spinefoot and Indian lionfish moving over the rocky terrain, along with Mediterranean fanworms tucked into the reef.
