Green Island sits off the southeastern coast of Taiwan, in the Pacific Ocean off Taitung County, and its volcanic shoreline is ringed by fringing reefs favored by local dive operators. Lighthouse Reef takes its name from the island's lighthouse landmark on the northern part of the island.
