About this site
These coordinates place Lighthouse in India's Andaman Islands, in the Bay of Bengal, where the site takes the form of a wall over a reef bottom. It reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is generally considered an intermediate dive. Fusiliers, lionfish, octopus, parrotfish, and scorpionfish are all found here, and divers have also reported angelfish, bannerfish, barracuda, batfish, clownfish, dugong, eagle ray, frogfish, ghost pipefish, grouper, pufferfish, snapper, stonefish, sweetlips, trevally, triggerfish, and unicornfish. Some divers have noted confined spaces, entanglement risks, sharp metal edges, surge in the shallows, and territorial triggerfish as hazards worth being aware of on this dive.
