About this site
Ligpo Island sits off the coast of Bauan in Batangas province, within the Verde Island Passage on Luzon, an area known for its dense concentration of dive sites accessed by banca from the mainland. The cave site takes its name from the small island itself, which is ringed by rocky shoreline and reachable by short boat rides from nearby dive resorts in the Anilao area. Ligpo Cave reaches a maximum depth of around 60 metres and is rated a technical dive.
