Lime Stone sits in the Caribbean Sea off St. Thomas, in the waters of the northern U.S. Virgin Islands chain, an area marked by volcanic rock formations and small cays reached by boat from the surrounding island communities. The site reaches a maximum depth of about 18.3 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers here have reported eagle rays, nurse sharks, and lobster moving over the terrain, alongside coral cover made up of boulder star coral, finger coral, greater star coral, lobed star coral, massive starlet coral, and mustard hill coral.
