About this site
Lions Bay is a small community on the eastern shore of Howe Sound, along the Sea to Sky corridor between Vancouver and Squamish in British Columbia. The waters here are part of the fjord-like inlet framed by steep coastal mountains, with the Strait of Georgia further south. Divers at this site have reported East Pacific red octopus, North Pacific spiny dogfish, quillback rockfish, stubby bobtail squid, and giant California sea cucumbers among the marine life along the inlet's slopes.
