About this site
Little Gibraltar Point sits along the coast of Santa Catalina Island, off the Southern California mainland, in an area known for its kelp forests and rocky reef shoreline. Dive boats out of Avalon and Two Harbors commonly work this stretch of coastline, which is characteristic of the island's steep granite points dropping into the Pacific. The site tops out at around 11 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it a manageable spot to explore the shallow reef and kelp along this part of the island.
