Loch Shieldaig is a sea loch on the northwest coast of Highland Scotland, opening into the larger Loch Torridon near the village of Shieldaig. The surrounding coastline is characterised by sheltered, deep water typical of the sea lochs of Wester Ross, and diving here is rated as beginner level, making it a straightforward option among the Torridon area's sheltered sites. Divers have reported common dolphins passing through, along with common hermit crabs, common sea stars, European edible sea urchins, ascidians, and rosy feather stars along the loch bed.
