About this site
Halmahera is a large, irregularly shaped island in the Maluku group of eastern Indonesia, and Loleo is a coastal area near Ternate and Sofifi on the western side of the island, facing the waters of the Halmahera Sea. Dive sites in this area are generally reached by boat from small coastal settlements along that shoreline.
