About this site
Lone Tree lies along the coast of Timor-Leste near Dili, on the Wetar Strait side of the island, and is typically reached by a short boat ride or a direct shore entry from the coast road. The reef drops to a maximum depth of around 50 metres and is rated a technical dive. Divers have reported a wide range of reef fish here, including clownfish, lionfish, scorpionfish, and Napoleon wrasse, alongside bicolor chromis, blacklip butterflyfish, bluestreak cleaner wrasse, Clark's anemonefish, goldbelly damsels, moon wrasse, reticulated damsels, spiny chromis, and three-spot dascyllus moving over the reef structure.
